Free breakfast, which was a great way to save money. The terrace was a lovely spot to relax, unless you're terrified of sun and fresh air. , loved the added security of the carbon monoxide detector and first aid kit.
Oh, and who needs a fire extinguisher anyway?

I chose B&B Del Toscano for its prime location near Piazza Duomo, which I wanted to visit. However, the tour/ticket assistance provided was a pleasant surprise, making my exploration even easier. The bed and breakfast's proximity to the nearest airport, just 7 km away, was also convenient.
Risky parking and mosquitoes.

The guestrooms at B&B Del Toscano are simply wonderful. The premium bedding and laptop-friendly workspaces make it perfect for business travellers like me. With free WiFi and air conditioning, I always felt comfortable and connected.
Personally, I found the bidet in the private bathroom to be unnecessary, but I understand that others may still appreciate this feature.

I absolutely loved the charming decoration of this cozy B&B. The vintage furniture and beautiful artwork created a warm and inviting atmosphere. The general areas were well-maintained and provided a comfortable space to relax and socialize. As a senior woman, I appreciated the easy accessibility of the hotel. The nearby metro station made getting around the city incredibly convenient, allowing me to explore Catania with ease.
I would have appreciated more assistance from the staff in catering to the needs of senior people.

That place was okay, not too bad. The rooms were clean and tidy, with a decent amount of space. The bathroom was private, so that was a plus. , the location was not too far and not too close to the city center and there were many restaurants nearby.
The breakfast sucked. They didn't serve it at the hotel, and they gave us vouchers for a bakery nearby.

The rooms at B&B del Toscano are really cozy and comfortable, with nice touches like premium bedding and a laptop-friendly workspace. They also have free WiFi and air conditioning, which made our stay even better. The flat-screen TV and private bathroom were a nice extra too. And how cool is it that some of the rooms have a balcony? It was a great spot to relax and enjoy the view. we felt right at home here.
Personally, I found the electric kettle in the room a bit unnecessary. But hey, that's just my opinion.

For my Christmas stay, I appreciated the well-stocked kitchen and dining area which offered me everything I needed. the location was key, being close to shops, restaurants and public transportation.
The separate bathrooms along the corridor were a bit inconvenient. the mosquitoes were quite bothersome and no means of reduction, such as netting or sprays, were provided.

The host, Giuseppe, was mad cool and showed us all the spots to hit up. We had a blast checking out Catania Port and Catania Harbour. It was sick to see all the boats and feel that ocean vibe. Definitely worth it if you're into that kind of thing.
If I had one wish, it would be for the B&B to have a chill hangout area where we could party with other young people. It would have been dope to meet other travelers and have a fun social scene at the hotel.
